Today’s thoughts: Fall will be here soon, and that brings a major problem: new TV season.  I used to look forward to fall with relish, excited to see my favorite shows return.  But that all changes when you have young children.  The window for wathcingf  TV grows smaller for me, 8:30-10:00 every night.  Thank god for DVR.  And with half a dozen hour long shows and another half a dozen 1/2 sitcoms, plus...

Brett Favre officially not coming back

Yeah, I’ll believe it when I don’t see it. He may not be back yet, but halfway through the season, when his arm is healed and some team needs a veteran QB, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the field again. Unfortunately. He says he’s not coming back, but I haven’t seen the word retired yet. Not that the word means anything coming from his mouth. I think we see Favre play more games...

What the Favre?

Won’t Brett Favrejust stay retired?  Like a bad penny, he keeps on turning up.  And for some reason, teams think they will be better off with the gunslinger on their side.  I just don’t understandit.  Even poor Minnesota, who has a Super Bowl caliber defense and a Super Bowl caliber running back (You, Adrianne!), will not be better off with Brett over Tavaris Jackson.  Jackson can only get better. ...
