New Spongebob review- Chum Bucket Supreme

This is the third new episode from the SB Summer Bash

In this episode, Plankton decides to try drumming up business by advertising with a catchy sign.  He hires Patrick as his advertising guru, and Patrick comes up with the slogan: Chum is Fum.  Business booms, and on several occasions, the customers are seen saying that the food is awful, and then they violently throw up.  After several days, the customers get bored of the slogan, and Plankton urges Patrick to come up with a new, and he eventually does: Fum is Chum.  Customers return.  Now, to piss of Krabs, Planlton has installed a microphone next to the cash register, so every time he makes a sale, the dinging sound is transmitted over outside speaks so Krabs can hear it.

Anyway,,, Patrick final quits because he is burned out- he turns around and there is actually a hold through the back of his head through which we can see his brain.  his resignation to Plankton is a drawing of himself in a fighter plain.  Plankton exclaims that he doesn’t need Patrick, that he can sell anything to his dim-witted customer.  he proceeds to degrade is patrons, and his voice is amplified over the speakers.  Everyone hears it and spits out the food, and Plankton is assaulted by a hockey team.  At the end, we see Patrick, still with the hole in the back of his head, painting a sign for Krabs: Krabby Pattys are Fum.

This was actually an entertaining episode.  Much like the episode where SB becomes a waiter to impress Squidward’s rival and we see all of the little SB running around in his head, we get to see inside of Patrick’s head.  In this case, Pat is truing to read Plankton’s first sign, Chum is Metabolic Fuel, and his brain catches on fire, and we see all of the little Patrick’s trying to escape.

Three episodes in, and it’s already the second Plankton episode, though in this one, he isn’t trying to steal the formula.  Much like the Spongicus episode, where Plankton builds the Colosseum, it’s nice to see Plankton episodes where he isn’t trying to steal the formula, though seeing people eat chum and vomit is gross.

But not all Plankton episodes are good- all we have to do is look at Single cell Anniversary to see how bad they can be

And like always, Patrick-related episodes are always entertaining because Patrick is hysterical.
