A wise man once wrote:
“The desire for Change for the sake of Change without truly understanding the nature or consequence of that Change is the greatest of follies.”
Okay, so that wise man was me, though I am sure there are many comparable axioms.
But read it. Read it again. Read it until the word Change sounds like gibberish. Because there is a lot to learn in that one little sentence
Anyone who voted for Obama without understanding who he was or what he was or what he stood for should be ashamed. And anyone who voted for him has no right to complain. This is what you wanted, wasn’t it?
Oh, its not? This wasn’t what you wanted. But you voted for him. Why? Oh, that word, change. He promised change. Guess what, people, change is not always good. And if people took the time to actually learn what changes he wanted, maybe his change wouldn’t have sounded so good.
We are talking about a man whose preacher, whose spiritual leader, the man who Baptised his children, is a Racist. if that wasn’t enough to convince you of what direction Obama’s change would go, then you are a fool.
The words change and hope are not synonymous. The words change and positive are not synonymous. There have been as many bad changes in this world as good, and those who decided to vote for Obama simply because he promised change may have doomed us all.
Maybe you should have asked what kind of change he wanted?
